Today, we spent our last day editing our short film. This part was crucial since it was our last day working on it, so we had to work hard. At this point, my group has been well prepared with production. Because of this, we didn't have much left to work on. We began inserting all the shots we refilmed on our last filming day. My group and I cut the shots and adjusted them. We then put them in the order of the scenes so that we could fill in the gaps. We had more than 5 minutes, so of course we next cut the shots to make it equal to 5 minutes. As we were cutting the scenes, we made sure we didn't delete any important footage. We picked from the new options we had from the day we reshot the scenes. We didn't use any of the shots now that we had better ones. We then inserted the music and adjusted it into the short film. Today, we working on the missing scenes in the film. My group and I had finished filming everything. However, when we were editing, we noticed some scenes were too long or short. This meant we had to film it again to fix. We didn't have much to do since it was only a few scenes. That meant today would be short. We first went over all the scenes that we preplanned to film. Thankfully, because we did a planning day for details in past, this helped us for today. We knew the props we needed, were missing, and clothes needed for the shot. We also made sure the scenary was the same. We can't film a scene today at night if it was originally planned and made to be filmed during the day. We organized the order of the remaining scenes in order of the time of day it needed to be filmed. This made it easier to get through the day. We used a method we used in the past. We had set times for each scene and remaining shots. With this, we worked more effectively and effeciently. We were able to...

  My group and I worked on editing the new footage we have. We inserted all the new clips. We put them in order and starting cutting the shots. Some were longer than expected and some were shorter. We cut some scenes and exchanged some for others. Each scene we filmed had more than 1 option, so we were able to exchange some. We ran into some shots that we could not adjust, so we planned to make one last filming day to redo all the shots that we can not put in the film. We shortened all the footage down to 6 minutes and are working to shorten it to 5 minutes. The film was looking good already with just the shortening of shots. After we refilm some shots, than we can go back and add and adjust them. We worked on some of the transitions from each scene to the next. Today we were finishing our filming process. Our main goal today was to complete filiming everything leftover within the film. It is crucial that we get it done, so that we can continue editing and see what we are missing. My group and I wanted to make sure we started today on a positive note. We needed a turn around after not being able to film yesterday. Brianna had said that her sister has gone to the doctor and she just had a cold, Macaria found a ride to my house, so I was greatful for that. Alejandro didn't show up at all to filming which was diappointing because we needed him there. Macaria, Brianna, and I were frustrated by this, but didn't let this affect us in our filming process. Today, my group and I were supposed to film. However, we had to cancel these plans for several reasons. Brianna's sister, Hannah, got sick the day we were going to film. This affected Brianna because we live in a time where Covid-19 and other variants exists. With this being said, Brianna didn't know what Hannah had, so she didn't want to pass whatever Hannah had to Macaria, my mom, or myself. Also, Brianna is the main character and is needed for every scene we were working on, so we would need her to be there to film. We also realized that the person that was going to drive her to my house, can not take her anymore. She tried to find someone else to drive her, but she couldn't find anyone else. We spent our classtime together working on details. My group and I wanted to make sure we were well prepared for the future. This meant for incoming filming days and editing. We made a list of props needed for the film and extra incase needed. We placed the clothes that we used last time in a bag, so we don't forget them next time. We organized lunch so that we can order and keep working. We set times inwhich we want to try and finish each set of shots within a time period. This is so we can move on faster. For example, we had to film the acceptance part since we haven't done it yet. We decided we'd spend 20 minutes on this part starting at 4:35pm. If we work at that rate, we can guarantee that we will get done today. If not, we may have to add another day.
