Planning Details For The Next Film Day

We spent our classtime together working on details. My group and I wanted to make sure we were well prepared for the future. This meant for incoming filming days and editing. We made a list of props needed for the film and extra incase needed. We placed the clothes that we used last time in a bag, so we don't forget them next time. We organized lunch so that we can order and keep working. We set times inwhich we want to try and finish each set of shots within a time period. This is so we can move on faster. For example, we had to film the acceptance part since we haven't done it yet. We decided we'd spend 20 minutes on this part starting at 4:35pm. If we work at that rate, we can guarantee that we will get done today. If not, we may have to add another day. While we were planning, Alejandro had mentioned that he may not be able to come to our next meet. But, he had said he wasn't sure on that and so he will still be showing up. This stresses out Macaria, Brianna, and I because now we are short a teammate. This makes us feel like he doesn't value this film or group. Hopefully, Alejandro shows up and gets to working. We don't have much time and that is why we prepared everything. We went in depth for details, so we can take advantage of the time we have to it fullest. Our group is hoping to keep getting better from here and not to fall behind.

Some of the fonts we were planning on using in our film include Alta California , IM FELL Double Pica SC, and Juniper Std. For Alta California, we would use it when we show our names. For example, when we write “Edited by: Hannah and Mila” it would be used on “Hannah and Mila.” It is a sticker-like decorative font that has a rugged look to it. It relates to the film we are creating because it is a story about a girl who has a rugged life and mentality. Also, the font has a youthful feeling attached to it which correlates to how the film is made about teenagers. It also has a scary and mysterious feeling to it, which matches the overall tone of the film. It relates to our thriller genre and emphasizes the mood that we are trying to implement.  For IM FELL Double Pica SC, we would use it for the title descriptions. Music Changes

Today, we spent time picking new music. We messaged Khalid a while ago and he still hasn't seen ut. Since Khalid hasn’t answered our messages, so we didn’t to have any other artist options. My group and I didn’t think Frank Ocean would respond back or even on time. Because of that, we didn't attempt to message him. We started looking for some royalty free music. However, none of the options were good enough for our film in our opinion. We kept finding other ways that we can use so that the music would be good. Since we think music is one of the most important parts of the film. We found some potential ideas. We thought of the idea of remixing a song, so that it wouldn’t be copyrighted. We started editing the song we originally had which was "Coaster." We editing the speed and the sounds in the background to see if we can still use it.
