  What is the take away from the video?   I have acknowledged all the aspects and things needed to make a film. I learned the writing tips, production and post production steps and procedures. I could take away that there are ways to be better prepared for filming then I have before.     What good information did you gather while watching  it?   Budgeting and the resources you have access to will be crucial throughout the entire making of the film. When editing, cut the scenes down until you can't anymore which will shorten the film to just the important parts of it. Preparation is key for a film. However, even if you create a storyboard for the entire film, there still may be changes while making it. Stick to a theme and a tone and let it guide the story. If you do not do so, it will confuse the audience. Lastly, taking care of your cast is important because if you do not have respect them, they may not make it as easy to film.     How do you envision this helping you through your

Chris Marker's 1962 short film "La Jetée" was modified by Terry Gilliam in 1995 to become the feature-length blockbuster "12 Monkeys." Instead of calling his own dystopian narrative a movie, Marker called it a photo book. The film consists of a number of still photos with voiceovers. It has a detached narrator who seems unconcerned with the current situation, which lends a more remote air to a tale about nostalgia for the past . Similar to La Jetée, 12 Monkeys was created by fans of the film and is a purposeful, reverent reworking of Marker's original plot, themes, and concepts. La Jetée is a fascinating low-fi sci-fi time-travel story told in these vignettes, in which a Parisian World War 3 survivor is transported back in time to save mankind before the earth was radioactively destroyed. For the short film it surprised me in a very big way. I very honestly did not think that it would be that good of a film being so short. I thought it would look goofy but it was great. It is one of the best things I have watched in such a small amount of time. If I would rate 1 through 10, I would probably give it a 9. Like I said the plot is great so essentially it is about 9 the Main character. The build up is that first he has something flash, giving him a warning and then he has a flashback which has an amazing special effect to it Boom he is with 5 they both get alerts; and then they see this big monster which is like dog.5 then tells 9 to go hide so he proceeds to and attempts to fight him off all by himself dies and then the monster takes his soul away. You also see that on the monsters back is many number telling you that that 1-8 die. Which you see that he immediately gets and survival mode and he goes and deceives him. He achieves that and continues to outsmart him eventually

     It's time to make the final decision. After researching, my group and I have decided to make our film fit into the Drama genre. This genre allows us to exaggerate the stages of heartbreak which is common for many people. A lot of people share similar experiences and feelings during a breakup and can relate on some level. This genre allows us to portray realistic feelings and emotions through camera angles, lighting, sound, props, and more. Conflict is also very common in this genre. A heartbreak consists of conflict, and sometimes no resolution. My group can come up with ideas and put our personal twist to the film. Overall it allows us to portray a real life scenario and overstress the emotional impact of the situation. The other genres were certainly possibilities but this genre was most suitable. We didn't have to tweak the pitch and we were all able to see the endless possibilities that this genre presented to us. Choosing this genre allowed me expand my ideas about wh
