The Start Of Production

Today, my group and I had our very first production day. We have had planned to film this day for about a week or two. It was very hard to make this day due to all of our busy schedules. My mom left the house before the girls arrived because she had to go to church, but she had left snacks and drinks for us to have. Hannah, Briana, and Mila arrived at my house around 3pm. Maria had a soccer game at 4, so she arrived at around 6pm and showered after she arrived. While Maria was at her game, Hannah, Briana, Mila, and I worked on the scenes that didn't include Maria. We were able to get most of the scenes that Maria was not a part of done. When Maria arrived and finished showering, we got straight to work. We began about 30 minutes after she got here. We made sure that all the parts we filmed earlier, looked good and that all the important details were included. My group and I made sure we had all the props we needed and included in the right scenes. We knew our props, costumes, and locations were core parts to this final task. This is because without the props, the audience wouldn't feel the suspense that come with these items or the locations because some scene will be taken at night and some during the day. We need to make sure they are filmed in the right times that are needed. We also focused on filming many of the scenes that took place in my room. My group and I were able to be productive and complete most of the videos. We completed around three to four pages of the storyboard we had planned. We were proud to say that we believe that we only need one filming day left. We worked very well and were very productive!
