Intro Blog

Hello, my name is Nicole Miller. I am 16 years old and a sophomore in high school. I have learned a lot since I started taking the class last semester. I am very excited to start my final task and be able to better myself in filming and gain other skills within the process. I currently spend time a lot of time with my mom and my dog, Hercules. When I am not with them, I am either at school or at dance. I dedicate a lot of my time to competitive dance because that is my passion. I spend about 6 days a week practicing for competitions and conventions that begin in February. However, I do not think I would pursue dance as a career past college because I would like to be an attorney in family law when I grow up. Many people ask me why I chose this and why family law, but I want to pursue this career because I have been a key witness throughout my parents' divorce and found an interest in other divorce cases I have learned about. I am currently in the PreLaw program at my school, working on being an attorney. I also want to have media as a side job in the future because today, media is a big deal and a key part of a person's life. I'd like to try to use media to create a platform where I can inspire others in some sort. Another thing I enjoy is modeling. I help part time with a designer who creates prom and homecoming dresses. I used to participate with another company, but they began making height restrictions for the models, but when they do need me, I am all in! I took part in being on their 9th magazine cover issue and appeared in many of their adults and kids' runway shows. I try my best to not allow my height to get in the way of being a part of this industry! I always keep a very positive mindset throughout life because I believe it will better myself. Ever since I started thinking this way, I felt the positive shift in my life. Many people say I have a very busy and crazy schedule, but I know that I am just trying to live my life to the fullest!
